Crownpoint, NM – The Eastern Navajo Agency Navajo Nation Chapter Officials Inauguration is underway at the Wellness Center, Navajo Technical University in Crownpoint, NM.
Special guest include former Navajo Nation Johnathan Nez, current Navajo Nation President Dr. Buu Nygren, Navajo Nation Vice-President Richelle Montoya, Navajo Nation Speaker of the Council Crystalyne Curley, and other local dignitaries.
Posting of colors was done by the Diné Women Warriors, the Pledge of Allegiance commenced by Carol Whitman, Prayers and sacred songs by Hataałii Richard Anderson, Ansel Morgan, and Johnnie Henry Jr.
A grand speech by Hataałii Steven Darden, and encouraging speeches by Speaker Curley, Vice-President Montoya and President Dr. Nygren. Entertainment by Talibah Begay.
